Flowers!!!

Our flowers are going to be how we tie in our sage green into our color scheme.  Prior to going to my florist meetings/interviews I had no clue on what types or kinds of flowers I wanted.  My biggest concern were that my flowers were green - but not a hunter green or a lime green - a sage green.  I was lucky enough to meet with 3 great florist who took their time and showed me how they envisioned my wedding/color scheme.  In the end we ended up booking with Commerce Flowers - Duke just had that extra attentiveness that I needed.  His mock up was great and the centerpieces that they were doing for an upcoming wedding in there store were gorgeous.

Bouquet

I think I want my bouquet to be the same as my bridesmaids just BIGGER and fuller.

This is the EXACT look I'm going for. I love the monkey tails and everything.

Attached to my bouquet I am going to add a picture of my grandfather, Kelvin's mom and brother who have passed.  I know that this is going to mean sooooooo much to him.  In addition, I'm going to give him a charm to where under his boutonniere that will be a picture of his mom and brother - so that they are part of our wedding. I plan on giving this to him at our first look - prior to the wedding.

I really liked the idea of having fabric draped down the isle when we get married.  We are going to have tall pillars in the aisles, on top of them will be some of our centerpieces in green, and the fabric will be in chocolate brown.

Table Settings

We really want to be simple with our design.  We are going to use white table linens and a chocolate brown runner on each table.  We will have our centerpiece in the middle, which will be green, and that will tie in our color scheme.  Still undecided if we are going to use brown napkins - at this point we are going with white and our menus will be tucked inside.  Each chair will have a white chair cover and they will be tied with two organza sashes, one brown and one sage green.

This picture is where I got my inspiration from - I love how it looks clean with a pop of color.  I loved the double sashes.

Showing what brown napkins look like - may be too much if we have a brown runner too.

Centerpieces

We are going to have a combination of high and low centerpieces.  The high centerpieces will be in tall cylinder vases with submerged orchids.  On top of them will are going to have a setting that includes green and white roses, peonies, and hydrangeas.  The tops of the high centerpieces will also be what is used down the aisle when we get married.  Our low centerpieces will be simular to what is on top of the high centerpieces - just fuller.  On each table we will also have 4 lit candles.
